Being a mother of a fierce little girl, I know how transient time can be, and just how fast these little ones sprout into tiny bundles of energy with their own personalities. Capturing these brief and subtle moments of transformation is what I find most inspiring. It’s a never-ending supply of silliness, gentleness - sometimes grumpiness - but always loveliness, that keeps my work playful and unexpected.

In the hopes of serendipity, my sessions are full of play and natural moments. My style is witty, outside the box, and quite often involves my love of fashion, interior design, and art. Let’s just say, I’m not your typical family photographer! I am genuinely amazed by children’s curiosity, and love to engage them in a way to showcase their creativity as well as their uniqueness. 

The prominent Corcoran College of Art & Design gave me the education to do what I love for almost 20 years! Think back to the days of developing your own film and the mysterious dark rooms where it all came to life. 

 I am privileged to photograph the funniest, sweetest, and quirkiest of quirky kids and their families not only in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area but all across the country. I’ve become a historian of sorts, documenting, over many years, how they’ve grown and changed. 

Five fun facts about me! I’ve had coffee only twice in my life, truth! I collect mid- century modern chairs. One of my dreams is to cage dive with sharks. My guilty pleasure is watching The Bravo channel. And it’s  always balloons instead of flowers. Always!
